array of research, scientific expertise and engineering talent. Newport
News is at the center of one of the most significant technology clusters
on the East Coast. Our technology resources include two national laboratories
the Thomas Jefferson
National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) in Newport News and
the nearby NASA Langley
Research Center. Each year, 1,700 scientists from the world over visit
Jefferson Lab to conduct experiments and make their expertise available.
